The five fabulous trims of the 2017 Ford Fusion offer graduating standard features and drivetrains. We're going to take a moment to go over the performance options, comfort & convenience, and safety features:

• 2017 Ford Fusion Performance:
  • The 2017 Ford Fusion starts off strong, with a 2.5-liter Duratec® inline-4 that brings 175 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque to the party to kick things off.
  • If you're looking for something different, there is an available 1.5-liter EcoBoost® inline-4 Engine with Auto Start-Stop Technology, and it packs a bit bigger a punch, with 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. The options don't end there, however.
  • As your climb the trim tree, more power options open up to you.
  • Consider the available 2.0-liter EcoBoost® inline-4 and all 245 of its horses, or its 275 pound-feet of torque.
  • Higher in the tree, you'll see a 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 Engine, reserved for the all-wheel drive configuration, spitting out a mean 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque.
  • A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard, with a Continuously Controlled Dampening Transmission appearing at higher trim levels, and an available 6-speed SelectShift® Automatic with Paddle Shifters also makes an appearance higher up the trim tree.
  • While Intelligent All-Wheel Drive isn't available in the entry level trim, it's optional once you move beyond the base trim.
  • 2017 Ford Fusion Comfort & Convenience:
    • Comfort and convenience factor highly into the design of the 2017 Ford Fusion. You'll see some excellent standard offerings, like Hill Start Assist, three 12-volt powerpoints, steering-wheel mounted cruise and audio controls, Push Button Start,  SYNC® Enhanced voice recognition communication and entertainment system, 60/40 fold-down split rear seats, and plenty more we simply don't have space for!

There's also an available 10-way power driver's seat with 2 memory settings, which can additionally see available heating and cooling in the front seats as well.
    • 2017 Ford Fusion Safety Offering:
      • Across all the trims, unless otherwise replaced by an improved feature, you'll see a standard offering of: a rearview camera, Individual Tire-Pressure Monitoring System, AdvanceTrac® with electronic stability control (ESC), and Brake Assist, among many others.
      • Optional systems include: Reverse Sensing System, BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System, and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, with some of these systems featuring as standard equipment at or near the top of the trim tree.

  The 2017 Ford Fusion also offers some tempting packages, like two available Appearance Packages, two available Technology Packages, an available Cold Weather Package, an available Luxury Package, and three different available Driver Assist Packages, a Sport Upgrade Package, and Pothole Detection. The 2017 Ford Fusion is so feature-laden that we actually start to feel sorry for some of the other sedans out there-it must be pretty difficult to compete.
