Ruxer Ford Collision Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Estimator to join our Body Shop team. This is not an entry-level position-we're looking for someone who already knows the ins and outs of collision estimating and can hit the ground running. The right candidate with collision repair experience and computer skills would be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
• Write precise, manufacturer-compliant estimates using industry-standard software
• Document estimates with supporting photos and paperwork
• Maintain clear communication with customers, insurance companies, and rental providers
• Finalize invoices and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an automotive estimator in a collision repair setting
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with estimating software and repair procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on light trucks and cars, including HVAC systems, drivability issues, electrical and electronic diagnostics, engine and transmission operations, and general upkeep.
• Use OEM information systems for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Communicate clearly and document all work performed.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and contribute to the strong reputation of our service department.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in car and light truck repair or graduate of an automotive repair program preferred.
• Ford certification or previous dealership experience is a plus.
• Willing to train the right candidate with relevant experience or aptitude.
• Strong commitment to quality work and teamwork.
