March is here, and in addition to ushering in some more favorable weather, it’s brought about one of our favorite annual events here at Ruxer Ford, and that’s Ford Truck Month! And if we can glean anything from the fact that the Ford F-Series trucks have been America’s best-selling pickup trucks for over 40 years, it’s that you all are going to like Ford Truck Month, too!

We get A LOT of questions from customers about what the holes and “x’s” on their engine oil level indicator aka, “dipstick”, means.  Years ago the dipstick was designed to show when the oil in the pan was “full”, generally shown by MAX a section of knurled or cross hatches and a bottom mark that was stamped MIN.  The top mark meant it had the correct amount of oil in the pan, the area…
