  1. F-150 XL trim-This entry-level trim is available as either a Regular Cab, SuperCab, or SuperCrew® cab. It offers three box size options as well: 5.5 feet, 6.5 feet, and an 8-foot box. It has tons of engine options as well: a 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost®, an available 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost®, an available 3.5-liter V6 FFV Engine, and an available 5.0-liter V8 FFV Engine-you could say the 2017 Ford F-150 is the "Choose Your Own Adventure" of pickup trucks.  With this trim, you'll also see a SelectShift automatic transmission, available SYNC®, and Easy Fuel capless Fuel Filler.
  2. F-150 XLT trim-This trim offers the same cab, box, and engine configuration as the XL trim, giving you the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost® engine as its standard offering. You can also enjoy standard SYNC®, optional Ford BoxLink™ for accessories like ramps, storage buns, and dividers, as well as a rear-window privacy tint.
  3. F-150 LARIAT trim-The LARIAT trim offers the Super Cab and SuperCrew® Cab configurations with all three box sizes available. It arrives with a standard 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost® engine, but it gives you the option of either a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost® engine or a 5.0-liter V8 FFV engine. Other features of note on this trim include standard BoxLink™, standard LED Box Lighting, and a standard 8-inch productivity screen, so you can keep track of your progress at the worksite.
  4. F-150 Raptor trim-This trim gives you the option of two cab choices: SuperCab and SuperCrew® cab, but just one box length: 5.5 feet. There's also only one engine option, but we think you'll like it: a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost® High Output Engine. If you're looking for a lean, mean, take-it-all-on-type truck, this is the trim for you. This engine is only available with this trim.
  5. F-150 King Ranch® trim-This trim arrives standard with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, though a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost® is available. It only offers one cab style: SuperCrew® cab. There are two box sizes available as well, 5.5-feet and 6.5 feet. Some notable equipment includes a Sony® Audio System with HD Radio™, heated rear seats, and voice-activated navigation.
  6. F-150 Platinum trim-This trim gives the 5.0-liter V8 engine standard, but the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost® engine is available for those who want it. With this trim, you'll only be able to choose the SuperCrew® cab, but a 5.5-foot box and a 6.5-foot box are both available. Notable equipment includes standard Dynamic Hitch Assist, Quad Beam LED Headlamps and LED Taillamps, and a Fully Flat-Load Floor for SuperCrew® models.
  7. F-150 Limited trim-At this top-of-the-line trim, you get only the SuperCrew® cab and the only box available is the 5.5-foot box. There's only one engine as well: the 3.5-liter EcoBoost® engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. You'll get the Ford Technology Package standard, as well as standard heated seats and a standard twin-panel moonroof.
