Starting with the 2015 model year, the Ford F-150 has saved weight and improved performance by switching out its steel body panels with military-grade aluminum. Now, those same weight-saving benefits are being engineered in to Ford's most powerful truck line, the F-Series Super Duty.

The 2017 Super Duty is set to make its debut in our Jasper inventory later this year. The weight shaved off with the new aluminum body panels and bed box will be added back on to bolster the strength of more crucial components.

Logically speaking, the Ford SVT Raptor couldn't have come at a worse time. The automotive industry was struggling its way out of the Great Recession back in 2010, and few could see a market for an off-road pickup. But they proved the naysayers wrong, and the 2017 Raptor is set to do the same when it arrives in the autumn.

Designers are creative to the core. Whichever field they work in—be it home styling, graphic and web work, fashion or even cars—there is a certain language that all designers speak.

For Ford, the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy, was a chance to feature some of the most innovative designers that Ford has. The Salone features furniture and furnishing exports and was started in 1961. Last year, Ford designers took part in the event, creating furnishings inspired by the 2016 Ford GT.
